Torque, run by Peter, is the mechanic you're looking for. I had a very old Prius with what I thought was a bad battery. He went over it, did everything possible to get me back on the road. He knows the hybrid system and the batteries in and out. And it worked - we got the battery up and going, but then it turned out the engine was bad. He took a deep look at it - far, far below the rate the dealer wanted - and when he realized it was shot, let me know i'd be paying more than the car was worth, and didn't charge me an extra dime past his work. So when i went looking for a local car dealer, I found a car I like and, unprompted, the dealer said he has Torque do all the checks and maintainence on the cars he sells. Felt great about that.
